Delian underbody coatings and body care products serve vehicle underbody protection and bodywork appearance maintenance. Adhesives and sealants form the non-consumable part of Delian Group's automotive fine chemicals business, used mainly in vehicle OEM operations such as body-in-white, paint shop, interior and final assembly, and now extended to power-battery encapsulation and the marine sector. As new-energy vehicles pursue lightweighting, high-strength steel and aluminium alloys limit the applicability of conventional welding, so bonding replaces part of it thanks to even stress distribution, high strength, low mass, strong corrosion resistance, good sealing and the ability to accommodate differing thermal expansion of composite materials, with structural adhesives relieving the stress-concentration tearing around spot welds.
