New-energy bulldozers use battery-electric or other electrified drivetrains for high-traction dozing and ripping. The continuous drawbar load, undercarriage losses, grade and soil condition make real duty-cycle endurance more important than a simple battery-size comparison.
Compare operating weight, drive power, blade and ripper configuration, ground pressure and gradeability before reviewing runtime. Require endurance for heavy and light duty separately, charger power, battery protection and a site plan for charging without interrupting production.
