Electric excavators use battery or cable power for the swing, travel and hydraulic systems. Mini machines suit indoor renovation and municipal work; larger crawler machines serve earthmoving, tunnelling, ports and mines where local emissions and noise matter.
Compare operating weight and bucket to the material and production target, then verify digging depth, battery capacity, runtime by duty cycle and charger power. Cable-powered and battery-powered machines require different site infrastructure and should not be compared as identical products.
Use the table as a first comparison, not as a substitute for a technical agreement. Ask shortlisted manufacturers to confirm the current configuration, test method, duty cycle, charging or energy-supply boundary, applicable standards, warranty, local service and spare-parts plan in writing.
