Electric mining trucks include battery haul trucks and charging or battery-swap models for open-pit transport. Payload, haul profile, grade, rolling resistance and queue time determine energy demand; a larger battery is not automatically the most productive fleet solution.
Model the complete haul cycle with loaded uphill and empty return segments. Compare payload, usable battery, gradeability, braking and energy recovery, runtime or range, charging or swap time, and confirm compatibility with mine dispatch and high-voltage safety procedures.
Use the table as a first comparison, not as a substitute for a technical agreement. Ask shortlisted manufacturers to confirm the current configuration, test method, duty cycle, charging or energy-supply boundary, applicable standards, warranty, local service and spare-parts plan in writing.
